A Brief History of Our Insurance Agency
The Jesse D. Ludlam Insurance Agency was established in Cape May Court House in 1885. After working at the agency for many years, Harry G. Mossbrook became a business partner of the Jesse D. Ludlam in 1959 forming Ludlam & Mossbrook Insurance Agency. Then, in 1981 Harrys ' son Harry D. Mossbrook joined the agency, followed by his son-in-law Orton H. Hicks III in 1989 and Edward C. Mossbrook in 1997. As of January 1st, 2006 the agency was renamed Mossbrook & Hicks Insurance Agency.

More than a century after opening its doors for the first time, our insurance agency continues to provide the Cape May County with superior insurance coverage from the same building and the same location. We look forward to serving the surrounding community for many more decades.
